BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Wroxton Abbey (Fairleigh Dickinson Univ) (3), Wroxton

Replica dial from approx 2005. Motto reads: "Bright Houres". Aligned Roman numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, read from outside. No apparent noon gap. Original probably a Victorian dial. Note that Wroxton has several other interesting sundials: SRN 2251, 2758, 3959, 3960, 3961 and, in Fairleigh Dickinson University: SRN 2778, 6999, 7001 Reference: Sundials & Roses of Yesterday, Earle, NY,1902.
