BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Martin’s Church, Salisbury

The dial is on the SW buttress in the south nave. Motto reads: "Hora porrigit". Shows 6am to 6pm in half hours. Numerals a little faint. Ref: TH Baker, 1906, Notes on St Martins Church, p95. Dial maker paid 30/- in 1709.
