BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
A vertical painted stone dial opposite Baitings Reservoir and visible from the A58. The motto reads: "Ab hoc Momento pendet Aeternitas". Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Dial inscription gives Lat as 55d 45m. Dial painted on separate stone above main door. New brass gnomon, incorrectly mounted.
