BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

A finely engraved dial showing 4am to 8pm in 2 min marks. Gnomon bent half way along its length. Mounted on an 18ins diam slate hexagon on a low concrete base. Inscribed ’Made by Jonathon Silson[?] - for . . . Sinkeley MD FRS Lat D52 M53 Grantham.’
