BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Merseyside

This dial is identical to SRN 2705 at the same house, but brass, not bronze, and held inside the house as an ornament. Design based on William Deane 1718 dial in Science Museum. Inscribed ’Silas Higgon fecit (c) Lat 52 30’.
