BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cornwall

The dial is in the sensory garden. It stands on an octagonal cast pedestal. It shows the BST hours VII-VII undivided on its octagonal dial plate while an inner scale is graduated for GMT. The motto reads ’Cornubiae hortos amabant’ (Cornish people loved these gardens). The gnomon is pierced with a decoration of parsley leaves.
