BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

SS Peter & Paul, Sheviock

This dial shows the advantages of deep engraving. It is as legible now as it was when it was made. It has a star-shaped symbol at noon. The rusting iron gnomon is staining the lower part of the dial plate but otherwise time has treated it kindly.
