BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cornwall

This is a good plain brass dial by Dollond of London. The dial plate is recessed into the top of the pillar on which it stands. It has an eight point compass rose in the middle and the hours are divided into five minute intervals as well as the usual halves and quarters. The photograph dates from 1992, and dial was still in place in October 2018.
