BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St. Leonard, Landulph

This slate dial on the South porch has an arched top in which appear a sun-face and the motto, ’Sic Transet (sic) Gloria Mundi’, (So passes the glory of the world). Below, the curved space is occupied by the names of the Wardens, John Wymond and John Hodge. Though the dial shows hours from VI to VI, a rose appears in place of XII. The half hours are marked by triple dots and the quarters by single dots.
