BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church End Promenade, East Looe

This plain but functional dial is mounted on a granite obelisk 3.7 metres high. It is of marble with a copper gnomon. The hours VI - VI are divided into halves and quarters and it carries an inscription telling us that it was presented to the town by Capt T Narramore Were in 1891.
