BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kildare

Earl of Kildare’s Coat of Arms, with motto: ’Crum Abo’. Maker’s name ’Thos Heath London’. Engraved ’Lat: 53D. 20M’. 32-point compass rose with azimuth scale in degrees. EoT scale. Numerals deeply engraved. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 7.5 and 1 min marks. Fleur de Lys half hour markers. Damaged but repaired Portland stone plinth.
