BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial almost obscured by ivy which has obviously been removed at times but was rapidly taking over at Aug 1986. Impossible at that time to see dial markings, but ’pendet’ can just be seen across the top. It is therefore likely to be the dial referred to in Gatty as ’over the door of a house at Wentworth, Yorks’, with the motto ’Ab hoc momento pendet aeternitas’, and ’26th Dec. 1765. Delineavit Johan Metcalfe’. This identification has been assumed here to be correct.
