BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Anne, Over Haddon

The dial is on the S wall of the chancel. The inscription reads: "Teach me Thy love to know: That this new light, which now I see. May both the work and workman show: Then by a sunne-beam I will climbe to Thee." [by George Herbert]. Breakarch shaped dialplate with circular dial scale. Hourlines, numbers and lettering in gold with sunburst. Shows 7am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from below. Sun at root. Dedicated to ’Janet’ (Wadsworth) 1931-74 a local parish councillor. All furniture gilded.
