BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints’ Church, Pocklington

The dial is high on the buttress to the right of the south entrance. The motto reads: "Quis Solem Dicere Falsum Audeat" [Who dares say the Sun lies?] across top pediment. Across the bottom ’R. English & W. Cook Churchwardens 1820’. Shows 6am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII & IIII. Split sub-style line. Substantial bronze gnomon bent downwards. Three bracket fixing. Dirty dial plate.
