BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Black lines and numerals on white ground. Shows 9am to 5pm in hours and half hours. Semicircle around gnomon root contains cottage date. Short half hour lines emanate from this. Numerals in line with hour lines. Uses XII and IIII. End supported sheet gnomon painted gold. Visible from the road.
