BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Clwyd Area

The dial is outside the Hawk House, 150m from the main House. The motto reads: ’In Veritus Triumpho’. (Triumphus?) The dial is signed ’I Coggs in Fleet Street London’, and has Equation of Time rings. The gnomon is a replacement; it is of the same design as that on the other dial at the castle, SRN 2491, which is probably a copy.
