BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Parish Church, Walpole St Peter

Motto across the top ’ABI FUGIO’. Reported in 1994 as being of rough stone with black marble surround and marble insert. In 2011, just the marble insert remains. Numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI, upright at the sides, aligned along the bottom. Hour lines to square from the gnomon toe, holding the date ’1747’, and half hour divisions. All characters engraved and painted in. Square section rod gnomon bent down at the tip, with horizontal support. Located in 3rd area of chancel on south side.
