BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Shugborough Hall [NT], Milford

The dial is in the Rose Garden, and has engraved rose and leaves and four-point compass rose. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 10 and 5 minute marks, and stands on a circular topped pedestal of capped urn style 1050 high, set on a two step plinth. The motto reads: "Amyddst ye fflowers I Tell ye houres".
