BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cemetery, Hailsham

The dial is to the right of the main avenue, about 200m from the entrance, on a stone plinth 900 high. There is a sun design in the centre, with the four cardinal points indicated. The gnomon is supported by an attractive dolphin design. Roman hours are for 4am to 8pm, divided to 30, 15, 10 and 5 minutes.
