BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Horniman Museum (3), Lewisham

In the conservatory. Rectangular dial set in pedimented shape of conservatory window. Shows 8am to 5pm in hours. White hour lines drawn beyond the dialplate. Green numerals with green leaf pattern and blue aquatic décor surround. With orange sun motif and blue ’H’ motifs in the pediment. The design of the dial symbolises elements of the museum, with each blue panel representing a different museum collection, and the green panel representing the garden.
