BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
On a lawn in front of Alms Houses by the church. The dial commemorates the 400th anniversary of Christ’s Hospital, Ruthin. Roman numerals for 6am to 6pm, with 30 and 15 minute divisions. Numerals and text are raised.Ornate plinth of reconstituted limestone 950 high (Haddenstone’s Type No 250).
