BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Parish Church, Carburton

Two vertical direct dials on the corner of the nave below the tower. White faces and black figures. W face shows 3pm - 8pm in half hours; S face shows 6am - 6pm in half hours. Uses XII and IIII. Needed repainting in 1994. Dial block rotated on its mount to face the cardinal points. Looks strangely out of place.
