BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Boar’s Head Hotel, Ripley

The dial is on the village green near the Church, outside the Boar’s Head Hotel. It has four faces, with only stumps of gnomons, on a 15 inch cube with chamfered corners. All is set atop a seven foot pillar standing on four steps - each 1 foot deep. No lines or markings are visible. Stocks are mounted below the dial!
