BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dell Bridge, Port Sunlight

The dial is mouted at the top of a sandstone bridge over a dell, facing SW. The gnomon is missing, and there s an excess of gnomon mounting holes! The form is a square dial plate with arched decorative surround and sun motif at the top. Vertical Roman numerals for 9am to 8pm, with no divisions.
