BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

The dial, mounted on a pillar, is on the West side of the bridge. Radial numerals V - XII - IV - VII, read from outside, with noon gap. No other furniture. [Replaces a dial of 1769 by Richardson of Helmsley, see Historic England Ref: IOE01/10070/03.]
