BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The motto on this memorial dial reads: ’Sic Vita in Coelo Quies ut Umbra’. A thick solid gnomon with a deeply cut vertical edge. The dial plate is stone, integral with the pedestal, which is decorated around the top with roses and other floral motifs. Hour lines and half hour marks; Roman numerals.
