BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St James’ Parish Church., Brassington

The dial is over the porch. Its date could be 1701 or 1761. It is a decling dial, that is does not face exactly south, hence the gnomon is not vertical. It has once been a simple but good dial. It would not cost much to restore it to good condition.
