BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Norton Priory, Runcorn

The dial is in the walled garden. A figure of a clown’s face breaks through the upper part of the dial, a pipe in his mouth acting as the gnomon. Arabic numerals for 8am to 6pm (BST) are cast in relief on the edge of the circular dial plate.
