BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

The dial plates are in the form of an open book, 120° apart. There are month tables on each side, and a central nodus point in the gnomon to give clock time. The declination, altitude and bearing of the sun are shown. The dial shows British Summer Time, and the motto across the top reads ’May the sun ever shine on our lives’.
