BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Parish Church (2), Westwell

Three face cube dial set into gable above porch. An unusual little cube dial with gnomons on each of the three vertical faces. The wall declines slightly east of due south but the cube may be canted to make the dials face due east, south and west. All faces are very encrusted with lichens, making reading the dials almost impossible. The front dial is south-facing. Its hour lines are not distinguishable. Under the gnomon is a cross patty marking noon. Either side of it the Arabic numbers 11 and 1 can, perhaps, be made out. The left dial is west-facing. Some parallel hour lines are certainly visible. The right dial is east-facing. We have no report on its state except a photograph that shows no signs of lines or numerals. The three sheet metal (copper or brass?) gnomons are in good condition. They are not original. Note that the church is north west of the war memorial, in the centre of the village. Its core is Romanesque but the porch is medieval. Note also Saxon dial SRC 2338 inside the porch.
