BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

19 South Street, St Andrews

The dial is on the wall over the front door. The S face shows 6am to 6pm in hours; the E shows 4am to 11am; and the W shows 1pm to 8pm. A face is carved on top of the rectangular block. The E & W gnomons are missing. The S dial appears to face 5 degs East of South. Restored recently to 1994.
