BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Aylesford Priory (1), Aylesford

This is one of two sundials at Aylesford Priory. This dial is located on the south facing wall of the gateway and declines 12 deg. West. It is set inside a slightly pedimented stone frame and the dial plate may be rendered. The dial is marked from 8am to 3pm and there are no visible hour lines. The gnomon is unusual in that the root is set in the wall above the dial plate
