BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

The dial is set on an octagonal column and base 915h. An inscription around the top of the plinth reads: ’1933 Janette 1991 For all Time’. The dial shows 5am to 7pm in half hours, with a declination line for 19th June (date of decease), and has an EoT table. Unusual Fin gnomon.
