BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Staffordshire

Oval dial inset in pane. Shield in centre with three lozenges. Skull & crossed bones below dial and gold scrolls to other sides.. Shows 10am to 8pn in half hours which are duplicated by black white border. Cross patty for noon and date in top of yellow chapter ring. No fly.
