BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

The dial is in the south end gable. It shows 6am to 3pm in half and quarter hours. The hour lines appear duplicated - called ’drifting’ by Chris D! Thereis a small spherical nodus, but no declination lines are visible now. The gnomon is supported by an iron hoop which extends across base of dial. The owners are sadly unable to give any history. The house was an old toll-gate house.
