BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Located above the front door of the property. Motto at top reads: ’Tempus Fugit’. Dial is not accurately delineated, showing 13 hour divisions below the horizontal, from 5am to 6pm. Roman numerals VI - XII - IIII - V, [Noon is marked as XII and 4pm as IIII] divided to quarter hours. This dial replaces a dial of 1775.
