BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

High in the south window above the Vice-Chancellor’s chair is a stained glass sundial designed to decline east of south. It must have been moved at some time since it is now in position back to front. The numerals VI - IIII are visble in the yellow border, the hours being divided into halves and quarters while noon is marked by a cross. At the top is a sun and there may be traces of one or more flies in the dull white centre of the dial. The dial dates from the 17th century.
