BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Wrango, Denham

A 250mm square brass vertical south dial is mounted above the central first floor window of the house and is so high that binoculars would be needed to read it. Across the top edge is the motto ’Redeem ye Tyme’ and the sunburst round the gnomon root contains the spurious date possibly 16?5. It probably dates from the 19th or early 20th century and may be a Pearson Page product. It shows the hours VII - IIII - V divided into halves and possibly quarters. A similar dial was sold at Bonhams in 2007 with the date 1653 and an 8-rayed star for the noon numeral.
