BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Horizontal sundial on an octagonal stone pedestal situated to the South-west of the church tower. The dial shows the time from 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 minute intervals, but the gnomon is missing. Around the outer edge of the dial plate the motto reads: "The hours which part us bring us together again", also initials and the date of September 19th 1924. There is an 8-point compass rose at the centre of the dial with directions indicated.
