BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Dial House (1), Walgrave

Mottoes read: "We shall die all" across the top of the dial and, in an inset stone plaque beneath "Hours fly Flowers die. New days. Old ways. Pafs by. Love ftays". Black lettering and lines on stone ground. Faint hour numerals. Shows 5am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Hour lines are full length to root, half hours straddle the time ring with lozenge end markers, large on outside small inside. Strip gnomon with 6-scalloped underside and one short and one ’S’ supporter. Dial inset in stone wall with stone drip ledge above. May be slightly canted to the East since a stone border edging is only visible on the West side. Uses IIII and possible cross for Noon. 4pm line may be incorrectly placed. Also said to be 600 square!
