BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Giles Church, Great Wishford

The dial is about 15 feet up on the southeast corner of the chancel, opposite the former Rectory, angled out 10 degrees on long iron ties to face due east. There are hour lines for 5 - 11 numbered in a four-inch wide garter at both ends, the outer ring divided to quarters. Solid iron gnomon. Notes on the church history give a date of possibly 1712.
