BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Giles’ Church, Burnby

On Nave S wall nr Priest’s Door. Motto reads: "Non Tempus Fugiat, Pro Vita Gratias". Simple thin rod gnomon supported by a similar metal circular support. Shows 7am to 7pm in hours. In memory of Wm T Shorter 1919-1990. Dimension variously reported as 300 x 400 and as a Direct South dial. OS Sheet 106.
