BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

A Victorian bird bath supported by four legs bearing shields, three of which have south facing vertical dials! There are no gnomons. The south leg is inscribed ’No rain, no flowers, no sun, no hours’. The dials are about 230 across. The whole is made out of one piece of stone, and is set upon two small circular stone discs.
