BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Shropshire

The dial is on a cylindrical pillar about 1800 high, mounted on a square block 300 high. It is a cuboctahedron surmounted by a ball with a delicate iron filigree finial bearing a boar’s head and weathervane. No hour lines or numerals are visible on the dial faces but some gnomons are present.
