BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Northgate House (1), Warwick

This is a pair of dials on Northgate House, facing south-east and north-east. The first declines 25° East and shows the undivided hours from 4am to 3pm in Arabic numerals. A cast metal dial, it bears the date 1698, which was when Northgate House was built, but the fine condition and the style of delineation of the dial suggest a much more recent origin. There is a small shield, possibly of a leopard’s head, below the date. The second dial is of similar design but is incorrectly delineated as a south-west facing dial of 45° declination. The triangular corbel on which the two dial plates are fitted is of stepped stonework, brick and with a tiled and pitched roof.
