BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Beuno’s Church, Penmorfa, Porthmadog

The dial, on the East end of South wall of Nave, has a semicircular time scale. A Welsh inscription reads: ’Gwiliwch a chlowch chwychwi; Fod angen yn dwfod hob ocdi; Cyfrwys bob dydd nuin cyfri; Am cam fach coeliwch fi’. Jeff Holland AM Rector. A crude Google translation of the inscription is: ’Watch and lock yourselves; That need is coming soon; Cunning every day nuin count; What a small step believe me.’ - a better one is requested.
