BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

All inscriptions are now indecipherable. Elaborate pierced gnomon with ’D’ above crossed axes and a small trefoil. Mounted on wonderful circular stone table with four baluster legs. Now in shade of buildings in winter. Permission needed to view. One of a set of three dials. (Another is SRN 5301). This may be the Rowley dial originally set on the library roof by Langley Bradley to regulate the clock - record from Blenheim Palace.
