BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Exbury House, Exbury

The dial is in the rose garden. Motto reads: "Time Flies". All faces show only hours, by upright Arabic numerals. S face shows 6am to 6pm, W face shows 1pm to 8pm, E face has damage and now shows 4am to 10am. N face shows 4-6 and 6-10. W and E faces labelled W and E repectively, in the southern top corner. Gnomons may be replacements. Classical 18th C pillar dial, provenance unknown, possibly from elsewhere. Dial block surmounted by a griffin is set on a circular section tapered pedestal 2920h with circular stone seat at base supported by four crouching lions. The gardens are open to public for a fee.
