BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Village gardens, Portmeirion

The dial is located in the village gardens and is purely ornamental. The dial is of the armillary type mounted some 4m above ground level on a tapered cylindrical column with a square top. The dial is misaligned by some 180 degrees. It is adorned with an ornate arrow head and a crest above.
