BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints’ Church, Sproughton, Ipswich

Vertical stone dialplate with black incised markings set into the flint wall over the South porch. The sundial shows the time from 6am to 4pm using Roman numerals. A date of 1808 is split on either side of the gnomon root and at the top of the dial the motto reads: "Vita Quasi Umbra". The unusual gnomon has a base bar and concave supporter and is also provided with a strirrup attached to the concave supporter.
